Corrections Policy

Effective Date: June 14, 2025

At Thinklets, our goal is to provide accurate, trustworthy, and responsible journalism. We acknowledge that errors may occur and are committed to correcting them quickly and transparently.

1. Commitment to Accuracy

We strive to ensure all content on Thinklets is thoroughly fact-checked before publication. However, if a factual, grammatical, or contextual error is identified after publishing, we correct it as soon as possible.

2. Types of Corrections

We categorize post-publication updates as follows:

  • Minor Edits: Spelling, grammar, or formatting changes that do not affect the article’s meaning. These may be updated silently without a correction note.
  • Substantive Corrections: Factual errors or significant omissions that affect the understanding of a story. These are updated with a correction notice at the bottom of the article.

3. How Corrections Are Made

  • For minor edits, we simply make the change.
  • For factual corrections, we include a clear note stating: Correction: This article previously stated [incorrect information]. It has been updated to reflect [correct information].

Example:

Correction (June 14, 2025): An earlier version of this article misstated the year of the incident. It occurred in 2023, not 2022.

4. Requests for Corrections

If you believe an article contains an error, please contact us at:

📧 editor@thinklets.news
Subject: Correction Request
Please include:

  • The URL of the article
  • A description of the error
  • Supporting evidence (if possible)

We investigate all requests and, if warranted, update the content promptly.

5. Retractions

In rare cases where an article is found to be fundamentally flawed or misleading beyond correction, we may retract the article entirely. A retraction notice will be posted in its place with an explanation.

6. Transparency and Integrity

All corrections are made in the spirit of journalistic accountability. We do not remove or alter content to hide errors, and we clearly communicate any changes made that impact the article’s interpretation.
